A love of learning starts here!

At Oregon City Preschool, we encourage our kids to learn through play and aim to create an environment that fosters healthy social skills and a lifelong love of learning.

Play-based learning

Your child will spend their time learning through art, music, games, discussions, and free play. Small group activity time allows your child to learn skills like colors and numbers to prepare them for kindergarten.

Join a community

You will be able to connect with a community of parents coming together to nurture learning and enrich the lives of their children. At OCP, parents take turns assisting in class and help keep the school running smoothly.

Affordable education

Our school has provided high quality, affordable childhood education since 1946. Parent involvement allows us to keep tuition lower than other similar area preschools while keeping class sizes small.

Is your child kindergarten ready?

Today’s schools expect more from your child when they come into class on their first day. It’s common for kindergarten teachers to expect your child to already know their letters, numbers, colors, and shapes as well as be able to write their name.

At OCP we strive to have your child socially and academically ready to walk into kindergarten confident and eager to take on the day!

Oregon City Preschool

Join a supportive community

Oregon City Preschool is owned and operated by the parents of the currently enrolled students.

On parent workdays (co-op days), the parents learn about how children physically, emotionally, and cognitively develop. Parents can also learn reasonable standards of achievement to expect from children this age.

What parents love about Oregon City Preschool

I have been a part of OCP for the past three years. All three of my kiddos have been able to learn and grow so much from Teacher Allyson. Her passion, support and dedication for the work is very noticed and greatly appreciated. The Co-Op culture of this school has brought so much joy and forever friendships. For the kids and myself.

OCP is about building community. We have been at the school two years and have watched both my girls grow here. One enrolled and one tagging along. Teacher Allyson meets kids where they need to be and allows for creativity, exploration and independence. The life long friends we’ve made are an added bonus.

OCP is a wonderful school and community for children and parents alike. My son has thrived and learned so much in the last two years. I am confident that he has the skills he needs for kindergarten. My son has loved his time here and I am looking forward to having my daughter attend as well.
